Michael Dirkes

Michael Dirkes has more than 25 years of comprehensive experience in consulting and line management. Following studies of political science, economics and law at the universities in Bonn and Darmstadt, Michael Dirkes started his international career in strategic consulting. As a member of the senior management/executive board he was in charge of the global activities in the “manufacturing industries/automotive” segment at two leading consulting firms.

In addition to classic consulting projects, he early on gathered practical experience regarding investments in companies in various industries and was significantly involved in the successful development of the investments as member of the supervisory board and advisory board. As part of his consulting activities he successfully took over line functions as CEO/CRO in the companies he oversaw. He is particularly interested in all questions regarding leadership in critical and challenging situations; here he combines his civilian know-how with his experience as colonel of the military reserve.
