Mr. Patrick Schmidl, Ph.D possesses a vast experience regarding investing gathered during his time as investment director at an investment firm. Additionally, he was M&A-consultant at Rothschild and is managing partner at Deutschen Mittelstandsfinanz GmbH. Because of his operative experience gained while working for Clariant chemical corporation he is familiar with the practical needs and requirements from the corporate vantage point. Patrick Schmidl was Managing Director of CS Consulting GmbH, the group holding company of one of Germany’s largest IT-consulting firms for banking and insurance and was a member of the supervisory board of CS Consulting AG.
Dr. Schmidl studied business at the WHU Koblenz, the MBA-program of Texas A&M University as well as at the Université Libre de Bruxelles. For his dissertation on the internationalization of long-term corporate financing he was awarded the degree Dr. rer. pol. (summa cum laude). Patrick Schmidl is a member of German M & A association (Bundesverbands M&A).
